Orthodontic problems - Protrusion

Protrusion means prominent upper front teeth or quite often it is an optical illusion because the lower teeth are to far back because the lower jaw did not develop. This is quite common and is measured in millimeters of overjet. This can be corrected in various ways depending on the position of the underlying jaw structure and the profile of the patient. A good result is normally achievable if the patient cooperates well.
